Hi everyone, just an update on our renovations to the gym. We are running a little behind schedule and will now be opening on Monday 7th September. We thank you all for your patience and look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Due to Covid 19, Mickey B Fitness will be closed until further notice. Please everyone stay safe and well and we will let you know when we are back up and running again!

Hi, I hope everyone is doing well and getting their lives back to normal as much as possible since Covid, it sure has been a strange time! As you can imagine since our beloved Mickey passed away things have been a bit of a struggle for me to say the least and with Covid hitting hard I wasn't sure I was able to continue with the gym. However I am excited to say that I have now taken on a part shareholder and am able to keep Mickey's beloved gym up and running. I am sure you are all aware we had an arrangement with Richmond Rugby League for all it's members to use our gym and we enjoyed having their members use our facility. But I do feel a need to clarify a couple of things that I recently read on their face book page. Firstly, I am still the owner of my gym and have not sold my business. Secondly, Richmond Rovers Rugby League did pay access to use my gym but they received funding to do this. They received the amount of $28,750.00 a year and Mickey B Fitness gave back out of that money $11,503.12 a year for sponsorship. I'm not normally one for posting and putting things out there, but in this instance, I really feel a need to explain this. Mickey took a lot of pleasure in feeling he was giving back to his community and I feel the recent posting on Richmond Rovers news did not show that. I was saddened that Richmond decided to withdraw the funding when it was due and not continue their long running association with us. However I would still like to thank Richmond for their support over the years and wish them all the best for the future.

It is with a heavy heart we write to inform you all that our dearly loved Mickey B passed away 22nd November 2019 in Waitakere Hospital surrounded by his family.

Viewing tonight 7pm-9pm at Tipene Funeral Home Henderson.

Mickeys service will be 27th November 12pm at Tipene Funeral Home, Paramount Drive, HENDERSON.

We will then be taking our dear Mickey B to his final resting place at Waikumete Cemetry.

The family would love for you to join them afterwards back at The Gym for a BBQ and refreshments to celebrate the life of Mickey B x
