Team 99 has arrived at waikarka speedway for the auckland super saloon champs!!💯🏁😄

A good write up on just a few that will go head to head racing this sunday night in auckland..

We’ve introduced you to some of the Streetstock 290s field, but the Auckland Super Saloon Championship is also on the cards at Waikaraka Park Speedway on the 26th April, and currently with 16 cars entered, there are some great names to look out for.

Steve Flynn
Steve is proudly flying the flag for the old school Torsion Bar Brigade this season, carrying the 2NZ number while doing it. As the number of 4-bar cars in the class continues to grow, it’s a storyline worth following. Old school is holding its own.

Craig Cardwell
Craig had a strong run at the NZ Title recently, finishing 4th and pushing hard for the podium right until the closing laps of the final. He just narrowly missed out, but it showed what 8A is capable of. Looking forward to seeing him back on the track this Sunday.

Peter will be out in the car that’s recently been driven as the 25USA. When Jason Feger visited New Zealand, he got behind the wheel and raced it under his number. A cool piece of history to carry on the door.

If there’s one thing that defines Grant’s season, it’s consistency. He’s been a reliable high achiever all year long, and Sunday night will be no different. The kind of driver who gets the job done week in, week out.

Steve holds the current NZ CTRA Championship, so he knows his way around a race track. Always good to have him in the field, and we'’e looking forward to seeing him out at Waikaraka on Sunday.
