Edna Taituha was a much-loved and respected member of our community, whose connection to the Papakura Rugby Football Club spanned many years. A true stalwart and avid supporter who proudly wore the club’s colours and stood behind us and its people with unwavering loyalty. Her presence, warmth and spirit will be deeply missed by the many whānau, friends and community members who had the privilege of knowing her.

Edna leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty and belonging that will remain part of the Papakura Rugby whānau for years to come.

It is with deep sadness and much aroha that we share the funeral details for our beloved Mum, Edna Taituha.

Whānau, friends and loved ones are welcome to come and pay their respects, share memories and spend time with Mum.

Papakura Rugby Club is running a raffle for a genuine trip of a lifetime, and we're helping spread the word.

The prize is a trip to South Africa to watch the All Blacks take on the Springboks, their first tour there in 30 years.

Every match is completely SOLD OUT, so winning this raffle is one of the only ways to be in the stands.

It's fronted by All Blacks legend Frank Bunce, and every ticket helps grow junior rugby for local kids.

Papakura Rugby Club has entered the U85kg Men’s Nationals, and we’re on the hunt for players.

Whether you’ve played before, you’re looking to get back into footy, or you just want to stay fit, come on down.

And to the brothers whose clubs don’t have a U85 team… well… we’ve got one. 🫣😂

Don’t worry if you’re 87kg today… you’ve still got time to make weight by Saturday!
