The club offers Pre-School, Recreational, Competitive Levels and Adult gymnastics classes. Every achievement of every gymnast is highly valued at Waitakere Gymnastics Club. The Club has a warm and friendly environment. We aim for high standards in every aspect of Club operations; the equipment is of the best quality, our coaches are qualified and regularly given the opportunity to upgrade their qualifications. The facility is maintained to a high standard, the Gym is kept clean, the Committee is dedicated and our parent support is marvellous. Our coaches are enthusiastic and work very hard to ensure progress is made by each gymnast at any level of participation. All coaches train the gymnasts adhering strictly to the guidelines stated in the Waitakere Code of Conduct for Sport.

From mastering new skills and reaching personal milestones to National Championships selections and representing New Zealand on the international stage, there's so much to celebrate in 2026! 🇳🇿

Join us as we recognise the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our Rec Comp, Squad, and STEPS gymnasts! 💙

🤸‍♀️💙 GFA FEST 2026 — GYMNASTICS & PARKOUR!

Join us for a fun, supportive morning where our gymnasts and parkour athletes can show their family and friends what they've been learning!

📅 Sunday 8 November
⏰ 9:30 am – 12 pm (estimated finish)
🎟️ $25 per athlete

🌈 Who can participate?
Members of our Beginner Girls, Beginner Extension, Intermediate Girls, Advanced Girls and Parkour classes of all levels are invited to take part!

Athletes will practice their routines in class, and families can access the routines through our YouTube channel.

👕 What to wear
Comfortable, flexible clothing without buttons or zips. Leotards are welcome but not compulsory. Fitted shorts and crop tops are recommended beneath loose clothing where appropriate.

All athletes with hair below shoulder length must tie it back. Jewellery is not advised as it can catch on equipment or other people.

📲 Enrol by Thursday 5 November through Friendly Manager, under Holiday Programme.

ARE YOU READY? 🎉

We're excited to welcome everyone back to Waitākere Gymnastics for another term of learning new skills, building confidence, and having fun!

💚 A few reminders before your first class:

💧 Bring a named water bottle.

🎀 Tie long hair back securely.

👕 Wear fitted, flexible, weather-appropriate clothing. Remember, gymnasts go upside down! We recommend crop tops under T-shirts where appropriate, so everyone feels comfortable, confident, and secure.

👀 Wait in the foyer or upstairs viewing area until your class is called.

🚗 Parents and caregivers, please park and come inside to collect your child. No parking on yellow lines.

💻 Still looking for a class? Check online for availability or contact our office for enrolment assistance.

From superhero challenges and fort building to treasure hunts, parkour, obstacle courses and plenty of gymnastics, our Holiday Programme has been packed with fun!

Now we’re getting ready for Week 2 🎉

More gymnastics, parkour, games, challenges, outdoor adventures, science, talent shows and more are coming up.

Head to the link in our bio to view all our classes, age groups, information, and timetable, then register online.

Preschool, Springboard, and Beginner Girls classes fill quickly, so we recommend enrolling early to secure your preferred class.

🤸 Term 4 Re-enrolments are NOW OPEN! 💗

Existing Preschool, Springboard & Beginner members can now secure their child’s place for Term 4.

📩 Check your emails first — if you’ve received a move-up email, follow the instructions provided. If you haven’t received one, please re-enrol your child online into their current class.

Term 4 begins Monday 12 October.

New member enrolments open Monday 28 September, so we recommend re-enrolling before then to secure your spot.

Parents’ Night Out is back! 🤸‍♀️🍕🎬

Need a night off? We’ve got the kids covered! Drop them off for an evening of gymnastics, games, a movie and pizza while you enjoy a few hours to yourself. 💙
