♻️ Golf Club Recycling Pilot Programme – Now Live Across Auckland⛳

Auckland Golf is proud to support the new Golf Club Recycling Pilot Programme, delivered in partnership with Endless Metal Recycler. The initiative provides a responsible, circular solution for end‑of‑life golf clubs — keeping valuable materials out of landfill and giving them a second life.

Throughout October, and alongside Recycling Week Aotearoa, participating golf courses across Tāmaki Makaurau will host free collection bins where golfers can drop off any old clubs — steel or graphite, any brand, any condition.

Find your participating golf club in your area where can also take your old golf balls for recycling too:
Chamberlain Park Public Golf Course (Only available Recycling week 19-25 October)
46A Linwood Ave, Mount Albert
Clarks Beach Golf Club

🔵⚪ JUNIOR BOYS INTERPROVINCIAL | WRAP UP 🔵⚪

What a week for the boys!

After a huge week of golf, the boys earned their place in the final against Canterbury.

It was a tight contest, with most matches going right down to the wire. With the score sitting at 3–2 to Canterbury, we needed the final match to go our way to keep our hopes alive.

The boys fought right to the end, but in the end Canterbury were too good, taking the final 4–2 and securing back-to-back Junior Boys Interprovincial titles. 🏆🏆

A massive congratulations to Canterbury Golf — a fantastic team and worthy champions. 👏

For our boys, plenty to be proud of. They showed fight, composure and represented the Blue & White with pride throughout the week.

A huge thank you to Waikato Golf for putting on an awesome event, Cambridge Golf Club for hosting, all the scoring volunteers for keeping everything running, and all the managers for all the mahi, time and support behind the scenes.

🔵⚪ JUNIOR GIRLS INTERPROVINCIAL | 7TH PLACE 🔵⚪

The girls fought hard right to the very end! 💙🤍

It was a tough week of golf against some great teams, with plenty of tight matches and challenges along the way. The girls showed plenty of fight, pride and determination to finish 7th overall.

A massive thank you to Bay of Plenty Golf for organising a fantastic event, Springfield Golf Club for hosting, and all the volunteers who put in the mahi behind the scenes.

A special thanks to our managers for all the time, support and mahi throughout the week. It makes a huge difference to the team and we really appreciate it. 👏

And to all the districts — thanks for an awesome week of golf, competition and camaraderie.

Proud of the way the girls represented Auckland and wore the Blue & White. 💙🤍

🔵⚪ JUNIOR BOYS INTERPROVINCIAL 🔵⚪

Five rounds down, and the boys have been grinding! 💪⛳️

Round 1 | B.O.P — 3.5–2.5 WIN
A slow start against a tough B.O.P side, but the boys dug deep and scraped out the win.

Round 2 | Tairāwhiti — 6–0 WIN
We knew Tairāwhiti would bring everything — and they did! Three matches went right to the end, but the boys held their nerve for a clean sweep.

Round 3 | Aorangi/Southland — 5–1 WIN
Another tough match with three matches going all the way to 18. The boys kept pushing and came away with a 5–1 result.

Round 4 | Waikato — 5.5–0.5 WIN
The host province had plenty to play for and gave us a proper match. Credit to Waikato for the fight, but the boys stayed composed and got the job done.

Round 5 | Taranaki — 4.5–1.5 WIN
One of our toughest match-ups every year. The boys went out looking to control their matches early — and did exactly that.

5 FROM 5. 🔥

A bye tomorrow morning, then it’s Wellington. Another tough match, and with everything riding on the results, the boys know what’s ahead.

Time to rest, reset and get ready for the next one.

Blue & White. 💙🤍
