Ryan’s journey includes a proud Auckland Golf history, winning the Auckland Stroke Play Championship at the Auckland Golf Club in 2008 before going on to achieve success on the world stage.

To now add a Major Championship title to his incredible career is a remarkable achievement and a moment the entire New Zealand golf community can celebrate.

🏆 Auckland Golf representatives dominate North Island Stroke Play! 🏆

Congratulations to Jordan Jones and Chloe So on claiming the North Island Stroke Play Championships! 👏⛳

Both Jordan and Chloe, proud members of Pakuranga Golf Club, delivered outstanding performances across the championship to secure their titles at Tieke Golf Estate.

🏅 Men’s Champion – Jordan Jones
Jordan produced a fantastic display of consistency throughout the tournament, finishing 7-under-par and claiming victory by one shot.

🏅 Women’s Champion – Chloe So
Chloe was equally impressive, finishing 6-under-par and securing a three-shot victory to take out the women’s title.

A huge achievement from two of Auckland Golf’s representative players and a great reflection of the talent coming through our programme.

🏆 Bream Bay Classic delivers a thrilling finish! 🏆

The Bream Bay Classic at Waipu Golf Club came down to a dramatic playoff, with Auckland Representative and Remuera Golf Club member Robby Turnbull holding his nerve to claim the title against Pakuranga Golf Club’s Jordan Jones. 👏⛳

After a closely fought championship, Robby and Jordan couldn’t be separated, leading to a playoff hole to decide the winner — with Robby eventually securing the victory.

Congratulations Robby on an outstanding performance, and well done to Jordan on a fantastic tournament.

A huge mihi to Waipu Golf Club for hosting another great event and providing a fantastic stage for some of the region’s best players to compete. 💙⛳

🇳🇿🏆 Joshua Bai adds his name to the Kiwi legacy at Pinehurst! 🏆🇳🇿

A huge congratulations to Auckland Golf representative and Akarana Golf Club member Joshua Bai on an incredible achievement at the historic North & South Amateur Championship at Pinehurst.

Joshua has etched his name into Pinehurst history, joining a proud group of Kiwi golfers who have achieved success at one of golf’s most iconic venues.

An awesome achievement and another milestone in what continues to be an impressive journey for one of New Zealand’s leading young golfers.

🏆 Another incredible achievement for Auckland Golf representative Amy Tang! 🏆

Congratulations to Amy Tang on claiming the Girls Division Championship at the AJGA event, finishing 9-under-par (207) across three rounds. 🇳🇿👏

This marks Amy’s second AJGA career victory, with an outstanding performance that included:
⛳ 14 birdies throughout the tournament
⛳ A bogey-free second round
⛳ Under-par scores in every round
⛳ A birdie on the par-4 2nd hole in all three rounds

Amy’s composure and belief shone through all week, with her strong mindset once again proving to be a key part of her success.

🏆 Battle of the Bridge 2026 🏆

Another awesome Battle of the Bridge is in the books, showcasing the best of representative golf, sportsmanship, and camaraderie between Auckland and Harbour Golf .

Auckland's Men completed a clean sweep, claiming victories in the Junior, Senior, and Masters divisions. Our Women also put in a tremendous performance, with wins in the Senior and Masters matches, while the Juniors battled hard to earn a tie.

The results were enough to see Auckland retain both the Men's and Women's overall titles on home soil at Akarana Golf Club.

A huge thank you to all North Harbour players, managers, and staff for another memorable contest, and to the team at Akarana Golf Club – including the staff, greenskeepers, and caterers – for their outstanding hospitality and presentation of the course.

In 2027, we head across the bridge to defend our titles. 💙⛳

🏌️‍♂️ BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE 2026 | MEN’S TEAMS NAMED 🏌️‍♂️
The Auckland men’s teams are set, with players confirmed to represent the region in the 2026 Battle of the Bridge against North Harbour.
This year’s fixture heads back onto home turf, with Akarana Golf Club hosting on Sunday 14 June. It’s shaping up to be another strong match-up across all divisions.

Auckland will be represented by our:
🔹 Junior Boys
🔹 Senior Men
🔹 Masters Men

Well done to those selected – it’s a great reward for the performances shown across the season. We know the teams will embrace the occasion and represent Auckland with pride.

Acknowledgement also goes to everyone who put their hand up for selection. The competition for spots continues to highlight the depth and standard of men’s golf across the region.
All the best to our sides as they build towards what is always a competitive and enjoyable contest.

Auckland Golf is pleased to announce the Women's teams selected to represent Auckland at the 2026 Battle of the Bridge against North Harbour.
The annual representative fixture returns to Auckland territory this year, with players set to tee it up at Golf Club this Sunday the 14th June.

🔹 Masters Women
Congratulations to all players selected. We know you'll wear the Auckland colours with pride as we take on our neighbours from across the bridge.
