There are no classes Monday 1st June due to public holiday. The gym will be closed.

Normal classes resume Wednesday for adults and Friday for children.

A wonderful weekend of training at Aikido Shinryukan's 56th International Gasshuku! We appreciated the teachings of Takase Shihan, Horii Shihan & Kumazawa Shihan. Many good lessons to take back and share with the club.

Happy International Women's Day! We were fortunate that today coincided with our final day of the Gasshuku with excellent female representation from across the country and beyond. Thank you to our visiting instructor Miyuki Shihan for her influential teaching and for all the women who contributed to a wonderful atmosphere on the mat.

This weekend we are honoured to have Nobuo Takase Shihan, Etsuji Horii Shihan and Miyuki Kumazawa Shihan impart a little of their Aikido knowledge on us - day 1 was amazing - and am sure day 2 will be equally as enjoyable.

We would also like to recognise the 128 aikidoka that came together to make this event possible - friends from around the motu, from Queensland and Melbourne, Singapore and Japan - thank you!
