The Doyle Sails Autumn Series and SailOne P Class Kick-Off Series wrapped up on Sunday after three great days of racing.

With sailors competing across a range of fleets and conditions throughout the series, both events provided plenty of close racing and valuable time on the water heading into winter.

A big thank you to Doyle Sails and SailOne for their support, and to all the volunteers and race officials who helped make both series possible.

RAYC Life Member Howard Spencer is currently in New York competing in the opening regatta of the 1C37 season, joined by fellow RAYC members Sophia Morgan, Ella Arnold, Tony FitzGerald, and Danielle Burridge.

The team got off to a great start with a race win today and is looking strong heading into the remainder of the regatta.

We wish Howard, Sophia, Ella, Tony and the rest of the team the very best for the rest of the event.

We're entering Day 2 of the 29er Nationals 2026 today, with three light & tricky races completed yesterday with teams having to think their way around the racetrack the points are very mixed up. Nelsen Meacham & Oli Stone (WBC/KYC) are off to a strong start with two wins from three - with Bella Jenkins & Jess Handley (KYC/MBSC) close behind in second after staying consistently around the top 3. Blake Batten & Hugo Smith (RAYC/KYC/MBSC/WYC) round out the top three placings with a scorecard of 5, 2, 5. James Currell & Robert Abel-Pattinson (RAYC/KYC) won the other race that was contested yesterday, after managing to take advantage of a highly variable racecourse.

Today looks breezier which should allow the crews to stretch their legs a little more - with an upgraded schedule of 5 races there could be a big shake up across the fleet today with differing conditions.
