After six unforgettable seasons, five Grand Finals and four Premiership titles, Assistant Coach Rob Wright is leaving the Mystics to pursue an opportunity overseas.

Rob's impact stretches well beyond the trophy cabinet. Across six years he's shaped players, coaches and our wider organisation - and handed out a few legendary nicknames along the way.

In Rob's words: "Coming to Netball Northern and the Mystics has been the best decision I have ever made. It is the best organisation I have ever worked for. It is always the people that makes something so special."

We farewell Rob with deep respect, gratitude and aroha, and wish him every success in this next chapter. Thank you, Rob. 💙

The 22-year-old defender arrives from reigning ANZ Premiership champions Northern Mystics, having helped the Auckland side secure a record fourth title in 2026 🏆

Playing Goal Defence or Goalkeeper, Charlotte brings speed, agility and high pressure to the Rhinos defensive circle

After four years in the Mystics environment, Charlotte “Scotty” Manley is taking the opportunity to head overseas for 2027! ✈️

From her time with the Marvels and as a Mystics training partner to becoming a Mystics player, Scotty has worked incredibly hard and become a much-loved part of our whānau.

She’s super fun to be around, and we’re going to miss her a lot! 🥹

Scans have confirmed she ruptured her ACL in our match against Wales

“We’re absolutely gutted for Catherine. She’s worked incredibly hard to get herself here and to have this happen is really tough. She’s a massive part of our team and we’ll wrap around her and make sure she has everything she needs as she works through the next steps.” said Dame Noeline Taurua.

Cat will remain with the team for the remainder of the campaign and is being supported by Netball New Zealand and the NZ Team with a rehab plan in place.
