CLUB UPGRADE ANNOUNCEMENT 🙌🏼 ICE BOX AREA CLEAN-UP 🧼🔒

A big thank you to Norman 🔨 the Forman for putting in the hard work to clean up and improve the ICE BOX area, making it safer, more secure, and looking much more presentable for everyone 🙌🏼

These efforts go a long way in keeping our club environment tidy and enjoyable for all members and visitors.

Please join us in giving Norman a well deserved thank you for his time and effort in supporting our Darts Section 👏👏👏

Lakeside Debut: Secured! 🇳🇿

Caleb Hope followed up last month's Taranaki Open title by claiming today's Auckland Open crown.

Hope recorded a 6-0 final win over Neven Filimoeatu, and is now guaranteed a 2025 WDF World Championship spot through the New Zealand regional table.

FACT: While Clubs face challenges like all hospitality venues, the idea of Clubs continues to be popular in New Zealand. Many are hitting big milestones including 70 years or more. In fact, Clubs New Zealand supports more than 300 Clubs and 300,000 members – that’s a lot of Kiwis!

Today I had the very sad news that TONY RUPA had passed away after a long fight with illness.
A long time member and stalwart of Avondale RSA darts his support for new players and his "laugh a minute" sense of humour will be sorely missed.
He now joins other past players that we also love and miss including....
Mike Osbourne, Billy Angel, Mal Berry, Alan Povey to name a few ❤️
The next time I'm in the club, I'll raise a glass of port to you, my friend.
