Great weekend for our 3 students who represented Tukaha Waiheke on the weekend on
Lucas 🥇 gi and 🥈 nogi
Aaron 🥈 on gi division and 🥇 on absolute
Eli had his debut on the competition scene and fought very hard 🤙🏽.

Nz grapplers Nationals next Saturday.

What a day!!! North island champs done and dusted.
We took a team of 6 to compete at today and came home with 5 golds and one silver 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈
Very proud of everyone that stepped on the mats and gave it all!

And the day has finally arrived!!! Tukaha Waiheke has new home!!!
Last night was very special as we had our official opening of our new academy with the visit of our mestre and other black belts from Tukaha HQ! .
This a dream come true for me and I can not be more thankful for all the people around me that makes Tukaha Waiheke the special place it is!
Having our own home means more classes and bigger timetable so please stay tuned!

Well yesterday was an amazing day for Tukaha Waiheke! After more than 8 weeks preparing for it we took a team of 11 to compete at Nationals. Everyone did such an amazing job and all the hard work the team put to get ready for it showed and I’m very proud of all of you. We brought back to the motu 3 golds 🥇🥇🥇 two silver 🥈🥈 and two bronze 🥉🥉we definitely learned heaps from our errors and from others errors too.Now is back to training for all of us to keep on growing and getting stronger for the next one.

A bit late but here it is!! This is Cory he was the first one to get to 100 6 minutes rounds in the month of August. Him and Aaron (left the class before the pic.) did an amazing job and they achieved the target at day 23!! They both recived a Tukaha gi in recognition for their efforts!! Keep up the great work you 2!!

What a cool day at the comp in Auckland! The team did a great job and I am very proud all of them! Elora went up a belt and came up with 🥈Leon did exactly what he’s been working on to perfection and came up with🥇 not only went up a weight division but a belt up too put on a jiujitsu clinic on her first match and just came short on the final to get 🥈 looked very confident in his game and brought back 🥇 worked very hard on her match and got 🥈 and left everything on the mats and showed big hearts. Win or loose I’m very proud of everyone. Lots of things to work on to get ready for the next one! We are TUKAHA one whānau!!! Osss
