Pub Charity Limited distributes grants to community organisations all over Aotearoa New Zealand through their responsible hospitality partnerships, creating a positive impact in our local communities.
Their most recent funding allows us to provide amenities for our competitors in the pits and for our fans on the hill. Additional funding this year provided new surfacing on the junior infield track.
These are the vital steps that go on behind the scenes and make for smooth racing and an enjoyable experience at Hydrovision Rosebank Speedway.

Ken is Rosebank's official photographer. This means he gets an infield position, and we are privileged to have access to all his photos free of charge. Ken is one of the reasons we decided to have this photo exhibition. We want to showcase our brilliant community photographers who donate their time and talent to our club and for the love of the sport.
We're very lucky to have Ken, and he's keen to share the spotlight. If you're interested to learn a thing or two about speedway photography, Ken's your man to hit up.
He began shooting motorsport in 2005/2006 and this upcoming season will be his thirteenth at Rosebank. We asked him what he prioritises in speedway photography and he said "Speed skill raw machine no brakes no gears just pure power"
We think that pretty much sums up a regular Rosebank meeting.
We are super siked to see his photos on our wall at our upcoming exhibition.

Vic Gollagher is the man behind the lens at Virogo Photography, one of our current mainstays at Rosebank Speedway. You'll see him behind the wire fence, in the pits, and on the grass hill at various meetings across the season.
Vic began taking motorsport photos in 2004 at the Paeroa Street meeting and started taking at Rosebank in 2010, covering the 2010/11 season.
"I try to take are photos that: 1 - Appeal to the competitor, 2 - draw viewers into the action, and 3 - photos that I would've liked to see of me when I was racing."
Vic's selected some of his best for our upcoming exhibition and we're looking forward to seeing them on the wall.

This wall is a special part of Rosebank Speedway โ a place to remember the people who have been part of our sport, our club and our wider speedway community.
Thank you to artist Nigel - Dagarmedia - for his care and talent in bringing the latest additions to our legacy wall. It means a lot to have these names remembered at the track where so many memories were made.
To the families and friends of those remembered on our wall, we hope it provides a lasting tribute to the part they played in our speedway family.

Rosebank Speedway is proud to announce that we have received a New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) grant to help cover our ambulance costs for the 2026/27 Speedway season.
For the safety of our riders, officials, volunteers and spectators, an ambulance must be on hand at every race meeting. This is a significant ongoing cost for our club, so we are incredibly grateful to receive NZCT funding for the sixteenth consecutive season. ๐
NZCT is one of New Zealandโs largest funders of community sport and active recreation, supporting organisations across Aotearoa in areas including community arts and culture, education, health, youth development and rescue services.
A huge thank you to NZCT for continuing to support Rosebank Speedway and helping us keep our race meetings safe and running. A special mention also to our Grants Manager, Sandy McPhee.
