Kauri Blue and Kauri Pink are heading to Napier for the Arena Gym HBF Youth Futsal Tournament, ready to compete and represent the standards we work on every week.

When someone asks, “Where has Head Coach Marvin been?” 😠👉
The first photo probably makes it look more serious than it really was.
Over the past couple of weeks, Head Coach Marvin has been in Poland leading the New Zealand University Futsal Team at the FISU World University Championships.
Coaching internationally is an opportunity to learn from different teams, different coaches and different styles of play. Those experiences don’t stay overseas. They come back into every Kauri Futsal session and help shape the way players are developed.
Marvin is looking forward to getting back on court as Kauri heads into a busy few weeks.

Friday futsal in action.
A look at our U11 group working through real futsal moments: 1v1s, pressure on the ball, defending, passing decisions, and finishing.
These sessions are designed to give players more touches, clearer decisions, and more confidence in the game.
We also have space available in the 12–15 year group, with 6 sessions left this term.
