Athletics Auckland is the regional body responsible for the promotion of the sport of athletics within the region of Greater Auckland, made up primarily of the North Shore, Waitakere, Auckland City and Counties Manukau regions. We provide interclub and individual competitions for Track and Field, Cross Country and Road Running. We are also responsible for the selection of Representative Teams to the National Championships.

We can now confirm that the Auckland Road Relays and Junior Prizegiving will go ahead this coming SUNDAY, 13 SEPTEMBER at MT SMART.

Clubs have been sent the entry forms, if you wish to run in a relay team, please reach out to your club. This event is for all athletes U8 to Masters. This event will also be race 9 in the Senior League.

The Road Relays will be followed by the Jnr Prizegiving in the John Walker Lounge.

BUT WE NEED VOLUNTEER SUPPORT!

1. Clubs entering teams - please provide 1 x marshall
2. We need 6 x parent volunteers to help hand out food at the prizegiving to the juniors.
3. We need a couple of volunteers to help set up tables and chairs in the John Walker lounge prior to the first event on the day.
