BRIAN KINSMAN

The Kinsman family would like to let our Karting community know that Brian Kinsman, 86, beloved husband of Dorothy, passed away peacefully on Monday morning with his sons Tony and Michael at his side.

So many of you will have been lucky enough to have met Brian over the years at the track as an; epic Engine builder; huge supporter of the sport and at the track as a key asset to his sons and grandsons racing.
Going back to the mid-1970s, Brian became actively involved with the Mt Wellington Kart Club, serving as a committee member during a period of significant development for the club.

The Family thank you for all for all the kind message received and welcome you to join us in celebrating his life:

Followed by refreshments and time to catch up after the service at the church.

PATHWAY TO KARTING PROGRAMME

SUNDAY 7TH JUNE 2026

Due to the weather forecast this weekend our Pathway to Karting Programme has been moved from Saturday to Sunday.

The track will be open on Saturday for practice but closed on Sunday.

If you want to volunteer in anyway to help on Sunday, or any other PTK day, please get in touch with Dan Evers 022 657 4050.

Entries are now open for the 23rd annual Auckland Area Schools Championship to be held at the Sir Colin Giltrap Raceway on Sunday 28th June.

Come and get your names on those big trophies with the likes of Nick Cassidy, Mitch Evans & Matt Payne!

Get those declarations to school and signed kids.

Attached are the pit site allocations for the weekend.

All other pits are on the grass over the road as usual on a first come basis from 8am Saturday.

PLEASE PARK YOU CAR IN THE MAIN CARPARK.

THERE IS NO PARKING IN EITHER PIT AREA.
