TRACK OPEN FOR PRACTICE TOMORROW.

Unfortunately the weather has thrown a spanner in the works 🌧 and our scheduled Pathway to Karting has been postponed, which means the track is open again for those wanting to cut some laps.

23/09/2026

Ever wondered what it's like to race a real competition kart? Our Pathway to Karting experience is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of kart racing. This isn’t just a ride or a hire kart session – it’s your chance to experience genuine club-level karting.

Many of the world’s top racing drivers – including F1 champions – started their journey in karts. Your first lap could be the beginning of yours. Whether its for your kids or you, pathway to Karting is for everyone.

Our next Pathway to Karting is on Saturday 26th September and because some people have pulled out, we've got spaces available. If you've been waiting to give it a go, get in touch by emailing [email protected] or head to https://www.kartsportauckland.org.nz/getting-started/pathway-to-karting-days to register now or to get your name on the waitlist for one of the next Pathway to Karting days.

Thank you to everyone who raced yesterday in the Tony Bennett Memorial club day - and an even bigger thank you to Hutchy for organising the event, the trophies and reminding us it's okay not to be okay. Don't be afraid to reach out if you need to talk.

This event is always a special one for us, and a great way to remember an awesome club member and a good mate.

Before we get into the results, take this as a reminder to support organisations like I AM HOPE and Gumboot Friday whenever you get the chance. They provide free timely counselling for young people aged 5 - 25 💛

Congratulations to everyone who raced, the weather definitely didn't make it easy for us, but you all battled through and got some fantastic results.

Congratulations to all the podium winners, a special shout out to our Tony Bennett Memorial Trophy Winners from the Auckland Club Class and Junior Rotax

Club Class
🥇Darrel Jones
🥈Brandon Dawson
🥉Shannon Noble

Junior Rotax
🥇Asher Ehrlich
🥈Kahu Twilley
🥉Brayden Fitzgibbon

Thank you to Lucas Lanchester from Laserburn Designs for making and donating the trophies. At only 15 years old, your talent is incredible.

Thank you again to everyone who made yesterday possible, officials, volunteers, Kitchen Kweens (and kings yesterday!), the kids on the BBQ, racers, teams and supporters.

🗓 Next club day: Sunday 4 October 2026.
