Another awesome day with Sensei Arimoto!
We kicked things off with a relaxing walk along Takapuna Beach, followed by a fun clay pigeon shooting session — a great little excursion away from Karate for a change.
Back on the mats, training was top-notch. Sensei worked brilliantly with our Little Tigers, guiding them through solid Kihon and introducing them to Jo No Kata. In the second class, we focused on the Kihon that connects with the Junro series, covering Junro Shodan and Junro Nidan — lots of learning and sharp technique development.
The final session was dedicated to Kakyuoko Nidan, a classic Koten Kata that demands full-body coordination and flow. Challenging but incredibly rewarding!
All in all, a fantastic day spent with Sensei Arimoto — great vibes, great learning, and great company.

Last night was fight club for our mini martial artists!

We suited them up in tournament gear, and they looked like total pros.
