This Blue September, we are getting behind the push to raise awareness of prostate cancer and encourage Kiwi men to take their health seriously. 💙
Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in New Zealand men, with 1 in 8 men developing it in their lifetime. There are often no symptoms in the early stages, making awareness and early detection so important.
We'll be running a fundraiser later this month and would love to have your support, so watch out for details.
Talk to your doctor about your prostate health, know your risk and encourage the men in your life to do the same.
Because a conversation could make all the difference.

AN INTERRUPTED VOYAGE - 9/11 IN NEW YORK with Mike Pignéguy
Thursday 10th September, 7.00 pm Gulf Harbour Yacht Club.
25 years on, Mike will honour the anniversary of the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Mike was skippering a superyacht from Boston to Miami and stopped over in New York where the yacht was berthed less than a mile from Lower Manhattan and the Twin Towers.
'From our berth I had an uninterrupted view of the tragic and history making events that took place on the morning of 11th September 2001 when 2 civilian aircraft were flown into the Twin Towers causing their complete destruction.
On this 25th Anniversary of 9/11, I shall be showing and talking about my experiences on that fateful day and what happened during the rest of the voyage when we were finally allowed to leave New York.'
The club will be open from 5.30 pm, with meals available from 6.00 to 7.00 pm.
Invite family and friends to join us for this not to be missed evening as Mike's eloquent recollections take us all back to that fateful day
