What an incredible weekend 🌺🔥

The Eveni Pacific Women’s Doubles and Open Triples, held over Auckland Anniversary Weekend, was a huge success. A big thank you to everyone who came along to play, support, cheer, organise, and help make this event so memorable. The atmosphere, the level of competition, and the sense of community were outstanding.

A special thank you to our teams from Tahiti, the Marquesas Islands, France, and all around New Zealand for travelling and bringing such amazing energy and talent to the event.

Tournament Update – Please Read

The committee has met to discuss tomorrow’s schedule and the weather forecast.

👉 Please meet inside the clubrooms tomorrow at 9:00am for registration.
👉 Play will commence at 9:30am, and we will also debrief inside the clubrooms.

Tomorrow’s forecast is currently predicting rain. As Tournament Director, we are working with the conditions, which at this stage are not in our favour. As a result, we have decided to make an adjustment to the format.

🔹 Swiss games have been reduced from 7 to 5.
🔹 Our plan is to play at least 3 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday.
🔹 If conditions allow, we will aim to play one additional game on Saturday.
🔹 This will then be followed by the Top 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Final.

💰 Prize money will remain as advertised.
🥪 Lunch is included for players on both days.
🍔 Spectators and visitors can purchase food separately.
☕ The coffee van will be onsite both tomorrow and Sunday, located in the car park.

Please come tomorrow prepared for these changes. Due to the weather conditions, the format has been adjusted to ensure the best possible outcome for the tournament.

Mise à jour du tournoi – Merci de lire attentivement

Le comité s’est réuni afin de discuter du programme de demain et des prévisions météorologiques.

👉 Merci de vous présenter à l’intérieur du club-house demain à 9h00 pour l’enregistrement.
👉 Le jeu débutera à 9h30, et le débriefing aura également lieu dans le club-house.

Les prévisions annoncent actuellement de la pluie. En tant que directeur du tournoi, nous travaillons avec les conditions, qui à ce stade ne sont pas en notre faveur. Par conséquent, nous avons décidé d’apporter un ajustement au format.

🔹 Les parties suisses ont été réduites de 7 à 5.
🔹 Notre objectif est de jouer au moins 3 parties le samedi et 2 parties le dimanche.
🔹 Si les conditions le permettent, nous tenterons de jouer une partie supplémentaire le samedi.
🔹 Ceci sera suivi du Top 16, des quarts de finale, des demi-finales et de la finale.

💰 Les prix en argent resteront conformes à ce qui a été annoncé.
🥪 Le déjeuner est inclus pour les joueurs sur les deux jours.
🍔 Les spectateurs et visiteurs pourront acheter de la nourriture séparément.
☕ Un vendeur de café sera présent demain et dimanche, situé sur le parking.

The countdown to the big weekend continues!

We're set to kick off with the Eveni Pacific Women's Doubles this Friday, 23rd January 2026.

If you're interested in participating, don't worry – it's not too late to assemble your team and register.

The club doors will be open on Thursday at 1 pm to facilitate registrations and payments for teams that havent paid online.

START TIME FOR GAME DAY

🕣 Reporting time: 8:30am
🕘 Games start: 9:00am

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee. Food will be sold on Friday only.

We would like to remind participants and spectators alike that this event is 🚫 STRICTLY NO BYO ALCOHOL and 🚫 DRUG-FREE, with 👮 SECURITY WILL BE ON SITE.

The bar will be open from 10:00 am onwards.
