It’s Finals Time at Royal Oak!
The stage is set for what promises to be a fantastic NZ COC Men’s Singles Final!
We’re officially adopting two honorary Royal Oak Rockets today as former club members John Carruthers and Logan Clark go head to head for the title.
No matter who takes home the trophy, we’re in for a great game of bowls.
Come down to Royal Oak, cheer them both on, and enjoy some top quality bowling. We’d love to see plenty of support around the green!

A huge congratulations to the 1–5 Auckland Representative team on an outstanding performance at Te Aroha, bringing home the trophy! What a fantastic achievement and a wonderful result for Auckland.
We’re especially proud to see three of our own Royal Oak members representing Auckland so brilliantly:

A very special acknowledgement also goes to our own Robyn Fisher, who has stepped down as Manager of the 1–5 Auckland Representative squad. Robyn’s dedication, hard work, and unwavering support have made an incredible contribution to the team over the years. Thank you, Robyn, for everything you have done, your commitment has been truly appreciated and has helped lay the foundation for successes like this.
Fridays at the club are always full of activity, and this one was no exception!
From setting up for our upcoming awards, to greens maintenance behind the scenes, there was plenty happening throughout the day.
Members were out getting in some practice, followed by setting up for and enjoying the Friday Roll-Up, before the club came alive again for Club Night and the Friday Challenge.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped with the setup, kept the club running smoothly, and joined in the day’s activities. It’s all these little moments and the willingness of our volunteers that make our club such a great place to be.
