Tennis Hot Shots COACHING CLASSES starting next week!

Classes run on Tuesday afternoons at the Manukau Tennis Centre and are for children aged 5-12 years old. Our very experienced Tennis Auckland Coach, Peter Bulog, will be running the lessons.

Lessons just $10 per class thanks to support from the Grassroots Trust.

We also run Tennis Xpress classes for Adults on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.

CLM Community Sport organised an event for around 300 Tamariki from 10 kura to take part in the Otara Schools Cluster Manaakitanga Festival on Friday 13 May.

Tennis Auckland was delighted to have been involved with this event – even more so to have hosted it at the Manukau Tennis Sports & Community Centre!

Coverage of the Manaakitanga Day will also be part of this weekend's Tagata Pasifika show on TVNZ1 at 9.30am on Saturday.

Junior Community Play is cancelled today as the coach is unwell. Adult community play and Tennis Xpress is still all go! 🎾

Learn tennis the easy way with this adult beginner programme. It’s sociable and fun, teaching you the basics of the game. Everyone on your Tennis Xpress course will be new to tennis or not played for many years so you can be sure that you’ll all have lots of fun and laughs together as you learn.
- Classes are Wednesday evenings from 7pm-8:30pm and this special introductory course begins 16th February and runs for 8 weeks.
- Classes are just $15 per session ($120 for the 8 classes), thanks to a grant from Grassroots Trust.

Tennis Auckland has been informed by Auckland Council of a planned protest event to be held at the Manukau Sports Bowl starting at 11am on Saturday, 15 January 2022.
The event organisers (The Freedom and Rights Coalition) have promoted the event as “day out” and are expecting a sizeable crowd.
Auckland Council is communicating with all stakeholders including the NZ Police. As a precaution and to maintain public safety, gates to the site will be locked to restrict vehicle access.
For the same reasons, the covered and outdoor tennis courts at the Manukau Tennis Sports and Community Centre will not be bookable or open for Saturday, 15 January 2022. Apologies to all our tennis whanau in the south Auckland area who had plans for some tennis at the Manukau Tennis Centre this Saturday.
