Div 1 boys - Top 9 on Day 1 won both games, injury struck 12th on Day 2, landed at Bowls on Day 3. An achievement in itself playing the big boys with likes of NZ which won the comp.
Proud of the boys and their efforts and excited for 2026, knowing majority of the boys were 16/17 yr olds.

QIP's 2nd time to participate and much improved as a whole. Made Division 1 and had the opportunity to play Cup Finals was within arms reach. The boys landing in the bowl finals is still an achievement in itself and we are very proud of the team.
Thank you to every player, coaching staff, Medic for all your efforts, hearts of service, laughs, memories and even bigger team spirit made this tour special.
From the hard work on the field during trainins, and spirit of it all. This tour showed what our team stands for. The results mattered, but the friendships, commitment and moments shared are irreplaceable.
Thank you parents for entrusting your sons in our care, you all should be proud of them and their efforts...a good bunch of boys.

Day 2 Update:
Definitely was a hard day at the office today for us all. First game early in the morning at 8.50am which was a must win to stay in the Div 1 top eight, unfortunately it didn't go our way.
2nd game against the best in NZ saw some energy but valuable lessons learnt from it. Different dynamics and good takeaway to improve ourselves moving forward.
3rd game which was our game unfortunately gave it away with afew individual plays and wrong decisions.
Nonetheless proud of their efforts, with Neori ruled out of the rest of the tournament unfortunately; boys are enjoying the experience and no doubt will elevate their game.
One more day to go, till then goodnight from Dilworth 📝.
Epic Day 1 today - Running onto the field as the unknown saw the first game testing all that they've learnt at trainings. The boys held their own against RSA which saw them crossing the line five times to Neori, Olive X 2, Brock and Tom - missing one conversion 33 to one converted try to RSA 7.
2nd game a close one against a top 2 home team of Auckland Grammar School - "GTEC LIONS" solid in size and confidence. Those off loads came to light and made a difference. A Yellow card did not dampen the boys spirits but dug deep and saw Malachi and Tommy getting across the line in the first half. Tom Tugai came off the bench in the 2nd half and made a much needed impact with two converted tries. Great leadership shown by the older boys and the younger boys stood up to the challenge. A team effort by all for both games and we are proud of all of them.
*Day 2 tommorow has drawn the likes of North Harbour up first at 8.51am and a much anticipated match against NZ U18 at 12.30. An opportunity our boys deserve therefore looking forward to a tough day at the office tomorrow.
