Royal Auckland and Grange Golf Club

Estuary-bound and open to the elements, Tamaki has a character all its own. Strategic in its own way, and just as demanding.

The RAGGC crest is the mark of two historic clubs, united.

Since the 2015 amalgamation brought Royal Auckland Golf Club and The Grange Golf Club together, this emblem has stood as a symbol of shared heritage and shared pride.

Seen from the sky, there's no mistaking the strategy built into every hole. This is Nicklaus Design, shaped for RAGGC.

Logan's Run is more than a putting green. Named for Sir John Logan Campbell, a founding figure of the Club and its President from 1901 to 1912, it carries a piece of the Club's earliest history. Today, it's a place for friendly competition and some practise before your round.

When Chris Cochran and the Nicklaus Design team shaped this course, easy was never the brief. Fair was. Every hole was built to reward good decisions and thoughtful play.

In 2006 the club hosted The Bonallack Trophy. An amateur competition played in the spirit of the Ryder Cup.

Held every two years, a European team takes on one representing Asia/Pacific, with the venue alternating between the two regions each time. To date, it remains the only competitive tournament Rory McIlroy has played in New Zealand.

Middlemore is the nine where every shot matters. Tree-lined fairways, precise angles off the tee, and little room for the careless shot. A Jack Nicklaus design, it rewards the golfer who plays within themselves and reminds everyone else of the cost of ambition.

We're excited to share that the ISPS HANDA Japan-Australasia Championship is returning to Royal Auckland and Grange Golf Club.

After a memorable 2026 tournament decided by a six-hole playoff, we're looking forward to welcoming players back to Auckland and to the course once again playing its part on the world stage.
