NZFAA Marked Nationals 2026
A huge thank you to the Massey Archery Club volunteers and our very own Terry Basset for the huge effort in getting the marked course ready for a perfect weekend.

Clear skies, minimal wind, and a big turnout of competitors for the new freshly built course. It was a great opportunity for some of New Zealand's best archers to put their skills to the test.

224 competition arrows, over 10 hours on the course over two days, aiming at targets from 7 yards/6 meters to 80 yards/72 meters.

We love a round at Mount Tiger which is why we're pretty sad we missed out on this one. Some of the Attitude team did make the trip just to make us feel bad, thanks for that.
We were told it was "great archery weather" and "heaps of fun" - which is hard to believe given our absence.

Jokes aside, it's always cool to see some blue shirts on the podium, well done to all those that competed, see you all soon at Nationals!

Marked rounds at Lakeview are always a special challenge and we can report that this year was no exception. Somehow those big animal scoring zones find a way to test your head, and Lakeview has a way of adding to the pressure with it's steep angles too.

As always a huge thanks to the event organisers and to all the archers that made the journey to compete.
