We spend plenty of time working on throwing, hitting, fielding and fitness… but what about the bit between the ears?

Our FREE Mental Skills Development Workshops (lead by Sina Hunkin) are designed to give athletes, coaches and parents practical tools to handle pressure, manage stress, build confidence and better understand what drives performance - in sport and beyond!

Across six 90-minute workshops, we’ll cover everything from finding your “why” and building a strong athletic identity, through to managing pressure with breathing, relaxation, cue words and visualisation.

For those wanting to dig a little deeper, we’ve got something pretty special coming up! Join Sina Hunkin and Donny Hale for our FREE Two-Day Softball Development Workshops, combining the mental and physical sides of the game.

☕ MORNINGS: Mental performance skills - building confidence, handling pressure and developing the mindset to perform.

🥎 AFTERNOONS: Take it onto the diamond with practical softball sessions putting those skills into action.

Open to players aged 14+, coaches and parents/guardians - whether you’re looking to develop your own game or pick up tools to better support your athletes. Best of all, sessions are completely FREE thanks to support from the Auckland Softball Foundation Charitable Trust (ASFCT).

Congratulations to all recipients of ASA Awards but a special mention to Traye Wildbore - Senior Male Sportsperson 2025/2026 and Thomas Wildbore - Junior Male Sportsperson 2025/2026. Great achievements from two of our own very special players at our Club. We are truly proud of you both!

Hi all. Darrel’s funeral will be at the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club at 11am Thursday 30th July. All are welcome. There will be plenty of time for those to share stories or a few words that wish to so please feel free.
