New Zealand's premier ocean ski event also with SUP and Waka-Ama at Takapuna, Auckland- 2025 Event is on Saturday 3rd May
The Auckland King & Queen of the Harbour is brought to you by Takapuna Boating Club. The event also traditionally features SUP and Waka-Ama categories, and will see the Auckland Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf play host to the best Surfski, SUP and Waka-Ama paddlers this country has to offer, along with some pretty solid international competition.

👑 2026 Queen of the Harbour - Rebecca Cole 👑
She's been a rising figure in the ocean ski world for a couple of years, including some impressive international performances in 2025. Yesterday, she stamped her name as the next kiwi female force on the ocean, with a performance that saw her finish 7th overall. Following in the footsteps of some absolute legendary NZ ocean ski women and an incredibly popular winner, congratulations to our Queen, Rebecca!

It was one of the most dominant performances we've seen in the race for King of the Harbour, with Gene's winning margin over 6 and a half minutes.
From the start, it was a race for second.
Congratulations to Gene, winning for the 2nd year in a row.
