This clinic includes an extra 20-30 minute presentation on game day preparation, nutrition and mental skills. Parents are welcome to sit in on this.

EP Goalie Coaching want to take a moment to acknowledge the recent achievements of ambassador Josh Clifford.

Recently Josh Clifford joined the Kiwiblacks Inline Hockey Team from New Zealand at State Wars 22 held in Fort Wayne, Indiana. State wars is one of the biggest inline hockey tournaments in the world with 1016 games in 2 weeks with age grades going from 6u AAA to the pro division. Players represent their state, province or country with New Zealand, Great Britain, Colombia and Mexico sending teams.

The KiwiBlacks competed in the 2013A division and 2012A division.

In the 2013A division the team had a draw and 3 wins in Pool play giving them a bye in the first round of the playoffs. They then beat Northern California in a quarterfinal and eventually lost the semi-final to Arizona.

In the 2012 A grade the Kiwiblacks were playing up 1 grade as a full team, the only team to do so. The Kiwiblacks drew their first game vs Pennsylvania and won their second game 5-2. The team then lost their next 2 games qualifying them for a knock out game which they eventually lost.

After that Josh and 3 other Kiwiblacks played for Team International in the 12u NDP (USA National Development Program) inline showcase. Team International played against the top 12u AAA players from Canada, USA west, USA east, and USA Central. The US teams were using the tournament as a trial to select their national team for worlds while the Canada team is the group representing them. Overall, Canada won in the final against USA central and it was a very cool experience for Josh to play against the very best from North America.

As a part of the Kiwiblacks, Josh was awarded:
- Most Valuable Goalie - 2013 A Division
- All star team selection - Team Pride - 2013 A Division
- All star team selection - Team Honour - 2012 A Division

Congratulations Josh. This really is the product of your hard work and dedication to the position.
