Cool Car Friday… it’s not a bike but I can picture a sick roof rack with my X-Lab AD9 perched up there heading to a race!
Apparently this 71 Dub has a semi automatic gear box, from my understanding it’s like an Aussie Super Car, a gear stick with no clutch.
Jonathan Paape am I in the ball park?
It was pretty cool anyway!

Cool car Wednesday!
We love a cool car! This 1950 Jag perfectly fits the bill!
Amazing to think this was built just after WWII

This bloke called in today.
There were no power meters in his day, the most important number was where you finished!
I bet ya he threw down some huge watt bombs though!
Nice to see you Jack.

The Taupo Cycle Challenge is just around the corner!
Now’s the time to ask yourself… ‘Am I gonna do the same training I do every year and get the same result?’ (Great if you won last year) … your choice

When a shop client happens to be the parent of one of your favourite racing drivers and they know you’re a fan boy!

With wait times a bit shorter than usual now would be a good time to get a pre spring service before the workshop gets crazy busy again!

The commonwealthgames2026 starts this Friday in Glasgow.
It’s hard to believe my career best result was 20 years ago in Melbourne.
Only myself, Pamela McCauley and my coach Doug Bath actually believed I could medal … In fact another NZ Team coach made a point of telling me just before the start who were better TT riders than me in the field… that just fuelled the fire and I rode fecking angry (maybe he did it on purpose).
My next favourite memory was in Delhi when I spent over 100km up the road with Dave McCann, I didn’t medal (8th), but I helped set up Roly for a silver, I’m really proud of that ride.
Good luck Kiwis! Grip it and Rip it!
