🥳 50 YEARS OF HOWICK GYMNASTIC CLUB 🥳

This month, Howick Gymnastic Club celebrated an incredible milestone - 50 years of gymnastics, friendships, memories and a whole lot of passion for our sport!

All week, our gymnasts have been receiving a special commemorative ribbon to mark this amazing achievement. Each ribbon is a little reminder that they are now part of the HGC story — adding their own chapter to the history of a club that has been inspiring and developing gymnasts for five decades.

From our very first gymnasts in 1976 to the 1,000+ members who now walk through our doors, HGC has grown into something truly special. And while our club has changed and grown over the years, the heart of what we do has remained the same: creating a place where people can belong, develop, aspire and care.

A huge thank you to every gymnast, coach, volunteer, parent, board member, staff member, supporter and family who has played a part in making HGC what it is today. Whether you were here 50 years ago, joined last week, or have been part of the journey somewhere in between - this celebration belongs to you too.

Here’s to 50 years of HGC, and to the many more memories still to be made.

Happy 50th Anniversary, Howick Gymnastic Club!

NATIONALS COUNTDOWN - ONE WEEK TO GO! 🎉

The countdown to GMA Nationals is officially on, and our HGC team is looking more ready than ever!

Over the weekend, our athletes came together at Counties Gymnastics for GMA team training, putting in the work, sharpening their routines and getting to know their fellow team members. They are looking great and we can’t wait to see them take to the floor in Tauranga next week!

We’re incredibly proud to be sending an amazing 16 HGC athletes to Nationals and alongside them, 9 members of our coaching team will be representing GMA — either as coaches or competing themselves!

That’s 25 HGC team members heading to Tauranga, all representing our club and everything that makes HGC so special.

Our athletes will be heading down over the weekend, ready for a huge week of competition, team spirit and plenty of HGG support.

One week to go… New Zealand Nationals, we’re coming for you! 💚🧡

The school holidays start next week! Have you booked in to join the fun yet? 🤸‍♀️🎖🔫🏆🤸‍♂️
