NORTHS EVENT DAY – RIDER & GEAR DROP-OFF ZONE! 🚗

To help make our event day run smoothly and make life easier for our riders and families, we have a dedicated Rider & Gear Drop-Off Zone on High Road, right beside the BMX Club public entrance! This will allow families to quickly and safely unload riders, bikes and gear before heading to the designated event parking areas.

📍 HOW WILL IT WORK?
🚗 ENTER: Access High Road from the Gladstone Street / railway-line end and follow the road towards the BMX track.
🔄 TURN: Follow traffic management instructions and complete a controlled U-turn within the designated road-closure area.
🚴 DROP OFF: Pull into the marked drop-off zone on the southern side of High Road, directly beside the BMX Club public/paddock entrance, facing back towards Gladstone Street/railway lines
⏱️ UNLOAD – 3 MINUTES MAX: Quickly unload riders, bikes and equipment. This is a drop-off area only – no long-term parking.
🅿️ PARK: Once unloaded, continue along the designated route to the residential streets for parking

✅ WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
🔹 The drop-off zone will be approximately 120 metres long, accommodating around 20 vehicles at a time.
🔹 Vehicles will be managed in batches to keep traffic moving efficiently.
🔹 The drop-off zone will operate Friday 1.30pm-5.00pm, Saturday 6.15am-8.45am and Sunday 6.15am-8.45am
🔹 The area will be supervised by Traffic management and Hawera BMX personnel.
🔹 The BMX Club public entrance and all emergency access routes must remain clear at all times.

⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER
This is a RIDER & GEAR DROP-OFF ONLY – 3 MIN MAX zone.
Please have your bikes and gear ready to unload, follow the directions of our traffic management and Hawera BMX team and move on promptly so the next families can access the area.

💙 Our goal is simple: Less walking with bikes and gear, less congestion around the entrance and a safer, smoother arrival for everyone!

STRIDERS & NEW RIDERS — RACE EARLY TONIGHT! 🏁

Got a little rider who finds club nights a bit too late? We’ve got something new to try!

Tonight, our Striders and New Riders (half-track riders) will have the chance to race their 4 motos before the main club night gets underway, between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm.

🏁 4 motos
⏱️ Short breaks between races
🙌 Then sit back, relax and enjoy watching the rest of the club night!

We hope this makes club nights easier for our youngest riders and their families, while giving our little racers a chance to get involved and have fun.

Please register before 5:20 pm so we can get everyone ready, organised and start racing on time!

See you at the track!
