Clearing out some old FAST gear and found 3 pairs of Jammers. Free for anyone that wants them.
2 pairs of Funky Trunks sizes 28” and 30”. In some cool 80s styles that’s very on trend just now.
The 3rd pair are speedos and don’t have a size but they look to be the same size as the 28” Funky Trunks.
These are all in great condition and would have been passed on by former swimmers.
No idea what age these sizes would be. Comment here or email us if you want them.

Happy New Year everyone! 2025 was a great year for our swimmers and 2026 is shaping up to be even better.
A huge thank you to all of our coaches and committee members, and to every swim family who helped make the past 12 months some of our best yet.
We’re really looking forward to everything 2026 has in store.

Closing out 2025 here are the standings for our swimmers and their XLR8 Badge Progress. Some of the swimmers have already earned their badges before they aged up.
Congratulations to Sophia, Owen, Indi & Jack who earn their first badges. These will be distributed as soon as they hit our mailbox.
Remember you only receive each badge once, so if you reach the points threshold when you’re a year older you won’t receive another badge.

The swimmer of the month for December goes to Sebi.
He is always enthusiastic at every training. Literally running through the door and always prepared for training well before it is time to jump in for training.
Sebi has worked tirelessly on his butterfly, and progress is really showing. He always puts in 110% at training and at every swim meet he attends, which all coaches are extremely proud of.
He embodies the values of being a FAST swimmer, and is a great asset to the team, and all coaches are thrilled of his achievements.
Great work, Sebi!

Last Saturday was the final Pukekohe Swimming Club Meet for 2025. How lucky have we all been to have so many PSC Club nights this year - on our doorstep and for the most part all were Designated/Approved meets!
Big shout out to all of the Technical Officials, committee members and volunteers who have made this possible.
Kaeleb managed to PB in all his events on the night so takes out the 100% PBs bragging rights. Well done Kaeleb.
Lots of novice swimmers took on new events which is great to see.

Young Beau has sneaked in 3 Club Records in his last competitive swim of the year.
He broke his own Club Record in the 50 Free and then went on to break both the 50 and 100 back club records for 8 year old boys.
All 3 records were broke at last weekend Junior Clash meet in Mount Maunganui. Check our feed for the Results & Highlights post which covers his impressive medal haul.
Well done Beau!

We've kept you waiting a while for November's SOTM but Sophia was crowned Swimmer of the Month after Tuesday night's training. Here's what the coaches' had to say...
"Sophia has embraced her coaches constructive feedback and this shows through her improvement in her technique. She listens well and approaches training with focus and determination. Her commitment and progress are setting her up for excellent results in the pool."
On a personal note. I thought Sophia showed great leadership at the St Paul's meet last weekend when she took Adeline under her wing and encouraged her to dig deep for her final race. It was great to see an older swimmer supporting a much younger one like this.
We've only 1 month left in the year and only 2 training sessions + the pizza party so it doesn't leave much time to impress the coaches. There's still a chance though!

Last weekend was a busy one for FAST Swimmers. We had swimmers at 3 different meets. We've already reported on the St. Paul's Christmas Cracker which was on Sunday.
Siblings Beau, Ayla and Indi were all in Mount Maunganui for the Swimming Bay of Plenty Junior Clash 2025. That was a 2 day meet at Baywave TECT Aquatic Centre - a venue our AIMS Games swimmers will know well.
I'm told this was an eventful weekend with medals, ribbons and Personal Bests. So all in a great way to end the year.

Today a small contingent of FAST swimmers made their way down to St Paul's Swim Club in Hamilton for their Christmas Cracker Meet.
Once again, we were treated to perfect weather for this fun meet, and the barbecue was cranking out some of the most hyped-up sausages in New Zealand history. We also learnt a lot about the nutritional value of the humble snag, thanks to an MC with the gift of the gab — and possibly ownership of a local butcher!
As mentioned, this was a fun meet, but Lachie, Adeline, Antonia and Sophia all pushed themselves hard, taking on new or challenging events in one final swim meet for 2025.
We don’t get many opportunities to swim outdoor meets, so it was great to see our swimmers take this in their stride, with fantastic support from the sidelines.
Here’s the details on those PBs…
——
Lachie (11)
• 100 Back **New Time**
• 100 IM **New Time**
——
Adeline (09)
• 100 Fly **New Time**
• 200 Free -0.53
——
Sophia (12)
• 200 IM -2.37
——
We had swimmers competing in 2 other events this week, once those results are out we’ll post about those successes as well.

Next Friday Night is the final FAST Swim Training of 2025. As we have done in previous years we're going to mark the occasion with our Pizza Party night.
Coach Ria is flagging pool training that night so you can all make the most of the fun and games.
If it rains we'll bring the party indoors poolside but if this weather continues we'll setup outside.
This marks the end of a fantastic year of swimming. Lots to look forward to in 2026!
