The Northcote Old Boys Rugby Association (NOBRAS) are the elite over 35’s Presidents’ team for Northcote Birkenhead RUSC. We compete against other North Shore teams as part of the North Harbour Union; while our games are competitive, in the spirit of the Presidents’ game each game ends in a four try draw. Unfortunately due to the middle of school holidays our confirmed numbers were too low to put a team out v the Bluebellies wthis weekend.

We are gutted with this but the season started on a tricky weekend for pressies rugby and we look forward to putting out a strong team next weekend.

The NOBRAS are calling you! Whether you are an athlete wanting to run out full time or keen for a few minutes and a few cold beers after the game get in touch to join a good group of rugby scholars and have some fun this winter.

Over 35 and keen to play rugby this year? Our Northcote Old Boys President’s team are a friendly bunch who love a good game of social rugby with plenty of competitive spirit. If you’re keen to play, whether you’ve played rugby before or not, all you’ll need are boots, a mouthguard and socks, we’ll supply the rest … including plenty of deep heat and strapping. If watching your kid play rugby on a Saturday morning has you wanting to get amongst the action, then dust off your boots and run on for the Senior Club's NOBRA Presidents. The team plays on Saturday afternoons and you don't need to be a highly trained athlete, just someone who loves to play rugby (no matter your ability) and have a good time. Keen? Regrettably we've decided to cancel our game today against the Bluebellies Marist North Harbour, our numbers are just too low with a number of regulars broken or sick with the C.
