How much side pressure do you think it takes to be considered ELITE in New Zealand armwrestling?

It’s Monday and the team are tired and aches and pains are kicking in from a busy weekend of Armwrestling but it was all worth it.

We started off with only maybe a handful competing but as it got closer to the day, we got more sign up! We are so proud of our 18 competitors who took the stage to represent not only our club but their families and especially themselves. For some it was their first New Zealand Nationals OR their first comp ever and we couldn’t be more proud🔥

Our members were behind a few upsets on the day so for us it’s not always about the wins. It’s walking away from each tournament knowing we have learnt something not only about ourselves but what we can do now to tweak our capabilities on moving forward. Like they say, back to the drawing board we go 💪🏽
