Our 1st XI Football boys may have had some great accommodation but they were also faced with some tough competition. Finishing pool play in the middle of the group the boys were put into the middle bracket going into finals. A win against Mahurangi put the boys a game away from the 9th - 10th playoff but were narrowly beaten by Orewa on a Penalty Shootout. The team finished 12th at tournament and 2nd in A3 grade, though a tough season they are overall happy with their results. Thank you to all the Year 13's for your hard work over the years and passing down your skills and knowledge to help our returning players next year. ⚽🤝

Going into tournament, the 1st XI Hockey Girls had gone unbeaten through the whole season and won their Auckland Competition. However, they hadn't quite had a moment where they faced adversity and were determined to overcome it. This changed at tournament. From the first game, the girls lifted their own performance to match the high levels of those who they were playing against but were very unfortunate not to get the results for several of those matches. They had an incredible eagerness to learn more about hockey throughout the week and couldn't take the smile off their faces (except for the Penalty Shootout 😢). Overall, a very productive and memorable week that Coaches Akshay Chauhan and Kieren Chhiba as well as Manager Kathryn Wells are extremely proud of them for. 🏑😎

Special Congratulations to Summer van Gelder for being selected for the A Grade Tournament Team at UNISS last week. This is an awesome achievement as only the best 20 players from the Upper North Island get selected for this team! 🏅🥳

Our Netball Girls had a lot of fierce competition going into the Upper North Island Secondary Schools Tournament. They left pool play in the lower bracket but fought hard to earn victories against McAuley, Tauranga Girls and most importantly won the rematch against Mt Maunganui College! With these results they managed to secure their spot in A grade next year and finished in 24th after a second closely fought game against Tauranga Girls. 🏐

The 1st XI Hockey Boys competed in the Olympic Stick Hockey Tournament in Hamilton this year. Faced with a tough draw, our boys rose to the challenge and played some of their best hockey against the toughest teams. This team went on to play several really close and intense matches where they created a lot of chances and were kept in the game through some amazing goalkeeping from Kana Rahadi. Captain Parth Visnagara had an incredible work rate this tournament and is leaving the junior players of this team with an incredible performance that they can look up to. 🏑🔫

Congratulations to our 1st XI Football Girls who competed last week in the Kathy Seaward Football Tournament. The girls put in a huge shift and played some phenomenal Football which Coach Andrew Morris and Manager Duncan Smith are extremely proud of. On Friday they faced MAGS in the grand final but unfortunately went down 3-0. Needless to say, they should be extremely proud of their achievements this tournament and throughout the year, well done girls!!! 🥈🥈🥈
