Counties Sport Fishing Club

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Helen Martinson on Sunday, 31st May.

Helen, aged 80, was the beloved wife of the late Len Martinson.

Helen along with Len dedicated countless hours to Counties Sport Fishing Club, operating the club radio 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, not just during our competitions, but whenever members were out on the water.

Determined to contribute, Helen attended VHF radio courses and successfully passed her radio operator's exam in her 60s.

Helen's commitment, dedication, and service to our club and its members will never be forgotten. She was a valued member of our fishing community and touched the lives of many through her willingness to help others.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Helen's family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in Peace, Helen.

GENERAL MEETING/NATIONALS DEBRIEF

Our General Meeting is this Wednesday 27th May at the Waiuku Cosmopolitan Club from 7:30pm.

We’ll also be holding our Nationals Debrief, so come along and hear how everyone got on during the Nationals.

A huge thank you to the Waiuku Cossie Club who have donated $500 worth of restaurant/bar vouchers up for grabs for teams who scored points in the Nationals.
