West End Lawn Tennis Club

On Sunday 15th February we held our official courts opening day. A fantastic day, great turnout and thankful to Wayne Brown, Mayor of Auckland and Tom Irvine, Ngati Whatua Orakei for their respective parts in the opening ceremony.
We hope these 6 new courts will be enjoyed by as many members of the community as possible.
We have a weekly Open Night on Fridays at 6pm open to everyone. The bar will also be open for players and spectators alike.
We are also grateful to all the stakeholders in the project.
Auckland Council, Evenflow Drainage, Russell Gordon Contracting, Tiger Turf and Foot Print Survey as well as numerous individuals for all their work.

As many of you may have noticed we have undertaken an extensive project to replace and future-proof our existing courts over the last 6 weeks.
We are really excited that our 6 brand new courts will be operational in the next few weeks complemented by a full new drainage system.

With our optimum location and strong membership we are looking to partner with local businesses through one of our sponsorship packages.

From Monday 1st December until mid to end of January our courts will be closed for a full drainage and resurfacing overhaul. We look forward to welcoming players back onto our brand new courts towards the end of January.
