I'm deeply sorry to confirm the sad news that Juliet Lloyd passed away peacefully on November 23rd at a Hospice south of Nelson supported by her husband and children.
There will be a memorial service at All Saints Church in Howick on Friday, the 13th of Dec at 1 p.m. for anyone who wishes to attend.
While the studio has been closed the community continues to dance.... Unfortunately this post is a sad one, many of you will have meet and danced with Simon Moran, I am reposting a message posted by his brother Martin in the UK....
Hello. I am truly shocked and words can’t describe how I am feeling. Sadly my brother Simon Moran has passed away at his home in New Zealand. I can’t not believe I have lost my brother. Please can people share my message so my brothers friends can see this message. There are few people I would like to talk to that I don’t have their details. I will post again with more information when I can.

Just to update everyone our current focus this week and next week is moving out of our space at 24 St Benedict’s Street.
Up until Xmas we are going to be using local halls starting classes the week of the 12th of September. Based on interest the intention is to cement a new permanent home early in the New Year. As it will be easier to finalise a viable business plan that avoids the Xmas break.
Class times and days for the new hall location will be posted on the 5th of Sept, one week out from the new start week. Stay tunned for our dance activities :-D

Happy Friday tonight we have Beginners at Bliss with Mike and Lily followed by social dancing.
While we have been notifying people at classes over the last couple of weeks for some of you this may be a shock. There is no easy way to say this, but our lease is coming to an end and Bliss needs to move. Certainly, some ups and downs over the last few years…… But the many memories and smiles when you see others dancing over the last 8.5 years make it all worth it. So, get your fix for this amazing location over the next couple of weeks. And stay tuned for further updates on our next chapter, we will keep dancing and are working hard to secure a new home…. And finally thank you, thank you, thank you, to the many people who have helped support Bliss and the joy of dancing since Feb 2014 when we first opened....
