AWW is excited to announce our first club competition hosted at our homebase in The Arena, on Saturday 15 February.

This is a Weightlifting New Zealand sanctioned club comp. Weigh in from 9am.

Please note:
• Shorts/tights and t-shirts can be worn provided the t-shirt is tucked into the waistband for every lift
• IWF Regulations for belts, bandages and strapping apply
• Only current WNZ members can enter and compete.
• Athletes need to have completed Clean Sport Level 1 module before the competition

BIG weekend incoming, starting early tomorrow at 9:00am with our very own AWW Coach Melissa Chisholm-Cowie taking the platform for the Nationals Weightlifting Championships and then our amazing Issys Tobia-Pita on Saturday at 12:30pm 🔥

It's always inspiring watching our strong ladies lift and showcase their daily discipline and hard work on the platform 🏋🏽‍♀️

It was a good weekend in the office for The Arena crew. Big mihi to for another outstanding event, the hard work and time that goes into these events doesn’t go unnoticed - The Arena West see and appreciate you and your team!

So proud of these beasts who are not only repping us as their gym, but who are also preparing to rep their NATIONS tomorrow 😤🔥 We have two Team NZ's out there, one RX & one Int + a mixed-gym Pasifika team out there as well AND another 3 of our Arena athletes in the mix with Team Fiji 🇫🇯 🇳🇿 (shout out to Emmanuel also out there for Fiji tomorrow, but just missing an action shot for the gram 😮‍💨😅
