It is the aim of Green Bay Kids Own to provide safe and stimulating childcare and recreational opportunities for the children in the Green Bay Community.

We aim to provide a child-focused environment where all children are included and important as individuals, where social skills and respect for cultural diversity is developed through informal and social interaction. Goodbye From Julie
Well time has come around very quickly, with Friday being my last official day at Green Bay Kids.
I wish to thank all of you for the time you have attended Green Bay Kids Own under my management and be assured I will miss you all.
It has been a real pleasure over the last 25 years to watch the children in our community grow. Many of our young children’s parents once attended GBKO themselves so this was amazing to be part of.
Many of our children went on to work with us once they turned 16 and always told me about the fun times, they had at GBKO (currently we have two students employed who attended GBKO for their whole primary school years)
It has not been without it challenges over the years, but we took this in our stride and tried to support many families through difficult times.
Congratulations to Beth who will be your new owner at GBKO, with two years’ experience working with us, she is in a great position to take the programme over. She has so many fresh ideas and is younger and more computer literate that me, so I am sure all the changes she makes will be positive for the families attending and more life easier for you.
Our email address [email protected] will stay current until the end of Term 4, so don’t worry if you email me in error I will forward the email to Beth at the new Green Bay Kids Own email. Please start using Beth’s email for any communications from Monday.

To Family, Caregivers, and the wider Green Bay School Community
After 25 years of owning and running Green Bay Kids Own at Green Bay Primary School, I would like to let you know that on 1st July 2022 (week 9 or term 2) I will be selling the business and taking early retirement. The time is right for me to step away from the business while knowing that you will still be in great caring hands.
The Business will be owned and run by Beth Marshall who is my current 2IC. As most of you are aware Beth has been the front face to parents over the last year with me spending more time in the office than at the programme. I wish Beth every success in continuing Green Bay Kids Own.
The phone number and website will remain. The staff will remain the same (unless they choice to move on).
I have loved the last 25 years building GBKO to where it is now, and spending time with so many children in our community, seeing them grow up into successful young adults, and having the privilege to have their children in our care. I will miss each and every one of your children and wish you and them all well in the coming years. Again, thank you to all of our families who have supported me from the first year 1997 until today. Thank you to the Management of Green Bay School and the Board of Trustee’s for contracting me to operate from Green Bay School Hall, and for many years of support. To the staff who have worked with me over the 25 years, thank you. I could not have done it without everyone’s support.
