The tradition of having an Opening Day for the season continues, a bit quaint as most clubs don't really close.
Life Member Peter Singh ran the first hoop, a spot of morning tea, then we all enjoyed some games.

🌿Sustainable Success: Grant Transforms Mt Albert Croquet Club

MACC received a $6,886 grant for a greener future enhancing their grey water disposal system to comply with Akld City Council standards. President Martin Harvey praised the community's effort in this project, with members pitching in to dig trenches in preparation for the new NZCT funded system, ensuring a sustainable legacy for the 110-year-old club.

Another project this year for Mt Albert Croquet which only happened with the support of New Zealand Community Trust. Thank you so much.

Club working bee to install a Pergola last week.
Thanks to all the willing workers and we are so grateful for all the Christmas party hires over summer. The funds raised from the hires allowed us to purchase the Pergola.
A new shady spot to watch the games and host BBQs!
