It’s official! We are back! 👏

Yuhan Gao one of New Zealand's leading coaches assisted Alex, Leo, and Pranay at a practice session last week. Gao has recently returned from China.

The club has vacancies for players on Monday and Wednesday.

North Shore Table Tennis Club will be closed over the term break. Training will resume in Term 2 on Monday and Wednesday 5-7pm from 2 May. Happy Easter everyone.

We are happy to be welcoming past and new members back to training on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm-7pm at ActivZone.

Due to Covid, our end of term three tournament is unable to take place on 27 September. We hope our term four tournament and prizegiving will take place on Monday 22 November.

Player of the Month, June 2021

Bill van der Merwe is our player of the month for June.

Billy arrived at the club just over two months ago. He is very keen and has seldom missed practice, which he aims to attend three times per week. Having previously played socially, he has worked hard to improve his technique. Billy took part in our first tournament for 2021, on 12 April. He played in the advanced category and did very well, particularly considering his short time with the club.

He is a good prospect, who has made good progress and should do well in the future. Billy is learning the benefits of building a strong foundation for his game by focusing on getting his shots and position right.
