Well last night was not how Aaron wanted to end the season. Took a very hard hit into the wall and is in Auckland Hospital with two fractures in his back, thankfully no damage to his spinal cord, could of been a lot worse. Six months recovery period with no work for 2 to 3 months. Still in a lot pain but a lot more with it this morning.
Getting the car ready for racing tomorrow.

Last meeting of the season tomorrow at Waikaraka Park. Earlier start time of 4pm, which is great for us, as it means an earlier finish and with a 3 hour drive home we will be home at a reasonable hour for a change.
Well that’s it, no racing this Saturday.
A track with a great view. Getting in some practice before Auckland next weekend.

Nice day for a drive to Waihi Dirt Track today. Since Waikaraka hasn’t had SuperStocks there since end of December thought we would give Waihi a try. Just stopped at Whitianga Airport for Avgas. Let’s go racing.

First race grid 12. Made it up to about 5th or 6th and then a couple of laps from the finish blew a right rear tyre and finished 13th. Car was handling really great too. Then the rain came and that was it for the night, racing was called off. Would of been a good nights racing. @ Waikaraka Speedway Auckland

All set up and ready for the Auckland Superstock Champs. Let’s hope the weather holds off. Should be a good nights racing.

Well had a couple of work jobs cancel to the new year, so managed to work on the car and get it ready for our local Matarangi Santa parade today. Things all seem to be working fine on it. Next race Auckland Superstock Champs on the 27th December, can’t wait. Merry Christmas everyone. @ Matarangi
