The Totalgym ELEVATE Core ADJ
The Total Gym Core Trainer is a versatile piece of gym equipment that works all your core muscles, creating strong support for the upper body. This equipment uses your body weight and a variation of the plank exercise to work and strengthen the transverse abdominis, multifidus, internal and external obliques, erector spinae, pelvic floor muscles, abdominals, and the re**us abdominis muscles that make up the core muscles. The rolling glideboard allows you to increase or decrease the intensity of the workout and make adjustments to the exercise to add different muscle groups to the workout.
The Total Gym Core Trainer requires 1,1m2 of space and can collapse for easy storage. It is suitable for rehabilitation centres, commercial gym facilities, and home use. This product is easy to use and comes with an instruction guide covering 15 general exercises. For more complex and intense plank-based core exercises, you can visit the Total Gym website.
It is one piece of equipment that uses your body weight to strengthen all your core muscles with various plank exercises. The abdominals, back, hips, shoulders, and abdomen muscles work together to improve balance and stability.
• The incline assists in getting into the plank position, and the rolling glideboard allows for variations of different plank exercises with the option to increase the intensity of the exercises.
• Exercises on the Core Trainer maintain full-body support, are joint-friendly, non-compressive, and apply minimal force to the spine.
• The Core Trainer is suitable for beginners and the highly athletic, and there is no fitness or age limit when it comes to exercising on this piece of equipment.
Plank exercises strengthen not just your core muscles but also your glutes, quads, shoulders, and arm muscles. Strong core muscles promote a good posture and can help reduce lower back pain, as the core muscles are what support your spine. Since you are holding your weight on your toes and arms, regularly exercising on this equipment can improve your balance which helps in preventing injuries when running and walking.
