Have you been practising yoga and wondering what lies beneath the asana?

Beyond the fleeting moments of philosophy woven through a 60-minute class... beyond the shapes, the breath, and the movement... can you sense a deeper transmission calling?

A longing to dive into the waters of wisdom teachings, devotion, ritual, and embodied practice?

A desire to explore a tradition that is alive — not confined to the mat, but woven into the fabric of daily life.

A path that invites you to recognise the sacred within yourself, to meet the fullness of your experience, and to uncover the sweetness that has always been there.

If there is a whisper inside that says yes... or perhaps a full-bodied YES... this is your invitation.

Join Kirsty and Lisa for a 50-hour immersion into the teachings and practices of Non-Dual Ta**ra.

Together we will explore philosophy, meditation, mantra, subtle body practices, ritual, devotion, and the profound recognition that awakening is not somewhere else — it is here, in the alchemy of being fully alive.

We can’t wait to meet you there.

The Winter Solstice marks a turning point in the cycle of the year, the longest night, and the moment when the light begins its gradual return.

In ta***ic philosophy, life is often understood as a continual rhythm of expansion and contraction. Not everything is meant to be growing, building, or moving forward all the time. There are seasons for reaching outward, and seasons for drawing inward.

The solstice can be a gentle reminder that both are part of the same cycle.

As the year slows and the days grow shorter, there may be an opportunity to notice what is naturally coming to rest, and what is quietly beginning to emerge.

A few reflections for the season:

What feels complete, or ready to be let go of?

Where might I benefit from allowing more space, rest, or stillness?

What is beginning to take shape beneath the surface, even if it’s not fully clear yet?

Wishing you a nourishing Solstice and a little space to honour your own rhythm.

Cacao, Yin & Sound with Maryam

As winter settles in, nature invites us to slow down.

To soften.

To listen.

To honour the quieter rhythms beneath the busyness of everyday life.

Join Maryam for a deeply restorative evening designed to nourish body, mind, and spirit. We’ll begin with a warm cup of heart-opening cacao before settling into gentle breathwork and a grounding yin yoga practice.

As the body unwinds through long-held postures and mindful stillness, you’ll be invited to release tension, reconnect with yourself, and embrace the restorative energy of the season.

The evening will conclude with an immersive sound journey featuring crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, and drums, guiding you into a state of deep rest and integration.

A beautiful opportunity to pause, replenish, and receive.

On Saturday 20 June, Lisa, Sandey, Rodolfo and Rongo will guide our community through 108 Sun Salutations, a moving meditation woven together with breath, intention, and collective care.

In many traditions, 108 is a sacred number, symbolising wholeness, reflection, and connection. As we move through each round, we honour the rhythms of being human; the moments that feel light and effortless, and the moments that ask for resilience, courage, and support.

This special practice is a Koha fundraiser for Life Matters, supporting su***de prevention and mental health awareness. Every contribution helps fund life-affirming resources and programmes within our wider community.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

Complete all 108. Complete some. Rest when you need to. Sit, breathe, witness, and be held by the collective energy of the room.

This is not a practice of endurance.
It is a practice of connection.

SHAKE THE DUST ✨
This Friday at HUM Yoga with Allie Kennedy

A movement practice to awaken the body, shake loose stagnant energy, and reconnect to the pulse of aliveness within.

Expect breath, rhythm, sweat, release, grounding, freedom, and space to move beyond the thinking mind and into something more instinctive, embodied and real.

Part somatic movement, part ritual, part catharsis, Shake the Dust invites us to soften the armour, move what’s been stuck, and remember the body as a living expression of energy, presence and prayer.

No performance.
No need to “get it right.”
Just movement, music, breath and the permission to fully arrive.

Come as you are.
Leave feeling clearer, lighter, more connected.

At Hum, we honour the many expressions of mothering.

The carers, nurturers, protectors, space holders and gentle guides who move through the world offering presence, care and unconditional love. The essence of mothering lives far beyond a title, it lives in the everyday acts of tenderness, sacrifice, patience and devotion that help others feel safe, seen and supported.

Today, we also hold space for those who long to be mothers, those grieving loss, those navigating distance or complexity, and anyone for whom this day carries tenderness.

And we honour our great Mother Earth our first teacher. Not a resource to be consumed, but a living being who nourishes, sustains and cares for us all. May we remember to move in reciprocity with her, with ourselves, and with each other.

To celebrate the spirit of nurturing and care in all its forms, today only we’re offering 20% off all 10 class packs using the code MOTHER
Thank you for being part of the Hum community.

With love,
The Hum Team xx

Celebrating Mother’s Day, HUM is partnering with Embodyme for an evening of slow practice, sensory ritual, and gentle reconnection.

Embodyme is emotion-led body care, creating sensory rituals through scent and touch to help women choose how they want to feel and return to themselves. For this evening, we’ll centre around Kindness, a gentle reminder to soften and meet yourself where you are.

Together, we’ll explore the idea of kindness, something we so freely offer to others, yet often forget to extend to ourselves. It’s about creating a small moment of self-connection through the senses: breath, scent, and touch woven through the practice.

We’ll settle into a 75-minute Yin practice led by Kirsty, known for her compassionate guidance. Throughout the practice, we’ll incorporate Embodyme’s Kindness Body Oil, engaging the senses to support a soft return inward.

Afterwards, stay for light snacks, connection, and a relaxed conversation with Sarah, founder of Embodyme, who will share the story behind the brand and her intention of creating small rituals of care.

This gathering is open to mothers, caregivers, mother figures, and anyone wishing to share this experience together.

Each guest will receive a 100ml Kindness Body Oil to take home, along with the opportunity to explore the full range of Embodyme body care.

GIVEAWAY ✨

We’re so excited to offer 2 tickets (for you + someone you love) to share this experience together.

An evening to soften, slow, and return to yourself ✨

Friday 8th May | 7:00–8:15pm

Join us at HUM Yoga for a deeply nourishing experience with Begum Kiremitcioglu—an intimate evening of Restorative Breathwork and Blue Lotus Tea.

We begin with a mindful Blue Lotus tea ritual, a sacred plant known for its calming, gently euphoric qualities. A moment to arrive, to ground, and to set a quiet intention for the evening ahead.

From here, you’ll be guided into a restorative breathwork journey—designed to regulate the nervous system and support soft emotional release. As the body unwinds, the breath becomes an anchor… guiding you back to balance, clarity, and inner stillness.

We’ll then move into a gentle lotus meditation, inviting openness, presence, and subtle expansion within.

This is a space to be held.
To slow down.
To reconnect, safely, softly, and deeply.

We’ll close with time for integration, allowing you to land gently before returning to the outside world.

A beautiful opportunity to rest, reset, and come home to yourself 🌿

Happy Earth Day 🌻

We only have one, and she is not here to be taken from or used up.

She is soft.

A place to call home.

The mother of mothers.

She holds us without asking, feeds us without condition, and offers her beauty freely in the oceans, soil, sky, breath. Not a resource… but a relationship.

Can we meet her with care?
Can we soften the way we move across her?
Tend to her gardens, walk a little more gently, and remember what it is to belong here.

What will you commit to today to honour her?

Maybe it’s something simple…
choosing less, consuming more consciously
planting something, or tending to what is already growing
picking up rubbish, even if it isn’t yours
pausing to watch the sky, the trees, the quiet life all around you
offering gratitude before your next meal

Small acts, done with love, as she loves us.

Let today be a remembering.
That we are not separate from this earth, we are part of her.

With all our hearts at HUM,
Happy Earth Day xx.
