From humble beginnings to a heart full of Arōha 💚

Born in the beautiful island of Bohol, Philippines and built with purpose in Aotearoa New Zealand, Boholana Skin Body Performance is more than a brand. It is a journey of healing, resilience, strength, and love.

Founded by Liezel Lambert in 2016 alongside the Physio Strength Coach at Boholana Skin Body Performance represents a decade of building not only careers, but a life together grounded in passion, purpose, and family. From running a gym side by side, coaching and supporting others through health and fitness, to navigating the highs and lows of life together, every chapter helped shape this brand's vision.

Ten years later, here we are, still building the life we love, weaving our dreams around it, and raising the family that inspires us every day. This is more than a business.

This is our baby, born in 2016, since getting married.

Inspired by years of experience in luxury spas, wellness spaces, fitness coaching, and higher education in health science, physiotherapy, beauty therapy, dermal science, sports & recreation, human performance and continuing education as a researcher, Boholana was created to bring together skin, body, movement, wellness, and Aroha under one identity.

At its heart, Boholana Skin Body Performance is about helping people feel confident in their skin, strong in their body, and grounded in their wellbeing. Every treatment, future product, offering and service is built with intention, combining nature-inspired wellness, science-backed knowledge, and genuine care.

I’ve officially progressed into the New Zealand Diploma in Beauty & Spa Therapy Level 5, and I’m continuing to grow my knowledge as a Clinical Skin & Body Therapist.

My focus moving forward will be more on skin health, manual therapy and recovery alongside Physio Strength Coach - Daniel Lambert💪

You’ll soon find me working part-time in a skin clinic here in Auckland while continuing my Clinical Aesthetics studies at a university in Australia. At the same time, I’ll slowly start looking for my own little space again as I step back into the workforce 🤍

I’m honestly so excited to finally offer more services than I used to and be able to say “yes” to more of my beautiful clients instead of having to decline appointments all the time.

Life has been extremely busy navigating this new path, so thank you for your patience, support, and for following along on this journey with me 🙏

New Zealand Beauty Therapy Level 4 unlocked 💋
This is part of building Boholana Skin Body Performance the right way, not just a qualification 💚

I started this journey back in 2020 with my Level 3 Certificate in Skincare and Makeup Artistry.

Five years later, after building a strong foundation in health science, fitness and wellness at AUT - Auckland University of Technology, I knew I wanted to create something bigger.

A space where health science, physiotherapy, beauty therapy, dermal science, therapeutic massage, sports therapy, nutrition, and mental and physical fitness all come together, working as one in a truly holistic approach 🌿

32 weeks of hands-on training at Elite School of Beauty and Spa, building real skills in skin, body and client care, guided by mana (strength, integrity), aroha (love, compassion) and manakitanga (care, respect).

This journey has stretched me, challenged me and shaped me into the therapist I am becoming.

Boholana is not just about treatments.
It is about education, real results and caring for people the right way.
