Did you know the New Zealand Falcons also have a touch rugby team?? That’s right, it’s not all about rugby union!!

Whether you’ve never picked up a ball or are a seasoned pro, we’d like to welcome you down to Western Springs Outerfields tomorrow evening from 6.30pm 🏉☀️

It’s a great way to meet new people, learn a new skill and get moving, all in an inclusive and supportive space 🌈🦅 And if you’re interested in playing Union next year, it’s a great in-route and opportunity to get that fitness up!

You’ve seen their faces, you might recognise a couple of them from our reels, so we thought it high time you get to know the New Zealand Falcons 🦅

First up is Michael Brown, who came to us nearly two years ago after ten years abroad and playing with the Manchester Village Spartans in Manchester.

The New Zealand Falcons had the honour of being gifted this powerful kōwhaiwhai by Māori artist and friend to the Falcons, Rory O’Neill (Te Āti Awa Taranaki).

This kōwhaiwhai was created specifically for the team to wear on our jerseys for Bingham Cup 2026 and we could not be more proud to represent Aotearoa in this way.

As the IGR Bingham & Amanda Mark Cup came to a close, the New Zealand Falcons took a couple of days to reflect on the past week of inclusive rugby.

One thing that stood out to us, is the importance of championing your team, win, draw or lose. There is mana in showing up for team no matter what.

We’ll have more to share and say but for now, thanks for tuning in 🦅💚🖤

What. A. Game. There was so much heart out on the field today from the New Zealand Falcons and we carried you all with us as we fought so hard to stay in the competition.

While we didn’t get the win, we are super proud of how the team played and Gotham Knights Rugby played a great game of rugby and both teams worked so hard 😈💪

The team is looking forward to a soak and celebration tonight of the hard mahi everyone has put in for this tournament 🫶

Another stunning game with Rebellion Rugby this morning, the New Zealand Falcons played one of our best games to date!!

We were grateful to play our brothers from LA again, and to play such a great game of rugby 🏉🦅 Good luck to Rebellion for their next game, we know you’ll crush it!!
