Hi all, *** Auckland Transport have approved the bike course ***
We are finalising info with the Council but we are a GO for Saturday for the Half Iron Man, Duathlon, Short course Tri and Aqua Bike National Champs.

...thanks for your patience regards this years race. We are still waiting on Auckland Transport to sign-off on the new course. (Old course not an option) - we'll mail out details of new course and Registration etc tomorrow morning. Good news is the race will be in one location at Maraetai; so no split transition............ all of this subject to AT sign-off. Cheers

We surveyed the course on Saturday (advised against going out there last Friday) There are several slips on the Road out the back of Kawakawa on top of the Road closure on East Coast Road so we've proposed a new course to Auckland Transport. This will hopefully see a single Transition for the whole Event at Maraetai. We'll know more soon - (Hopefully by Monday) and be in touch with Event details of the new course and Registration
