REDEMPTION Sunday it was as it turned out.
The Southside won overall 10 - 9 on aggregate score as they beat the Northside 5 - 2 coming back from last Sunday’s loss of 5 - 7.

Southside regrouping in their home field,
GLOVER Park, appeared to be more organised in their formation and roles. While Northside’s midfield power still displayed strong coordinated attacks, Southside’s organised formation proved to be a little better and got the ball in the visitors’ goal 3 times more.

NORTH meets SOUTH

The North Buds triumph over the Buds hailing from the South as they had their first match in Greville Reserve -North Buds’ home.

A NEW MIDFIELD POWER MATCH-UP is born as Cham and Paolo display tight control of the North Buds’ ball distribution, getting out of tight space situations with finesse.
Amado and Mark’s offensive combination was present but was not enough to stop the North Buds in the end.
Outstanding Goal Keeper performance by Jeffrey Tan was such a treat. The South may have just been blessed with a potential full-time goal commander at the back.

A lot of development indeed. A lot of surprises arise as this new and exciting brotherly rivalry continues.

NEXT SUNDAY, the North Buds visit the buds from the South in their new home field -GLOVER PARK.
