Shanghai Masters took the cup last night at the Indoor Tournament, they edged out Madrid Open only in the final round! Qatar Open took 3rd place with Indian Wells coming 4th. Thankfully there was enough cake for everyone - a quarter per team no less so it was even stevens on that front. It was a great fun night, thank you Kirsten for your superb organisation, Lida for ensuring we had food and the social committee for another fun event.

Let the Indoor Tournament begin - 4 teams - Indian Wells, Madrid Open, Qatar Open & Shanghai Masters - 6 rounds. Representing East and West, let the best team win - who will emerge victorious?

It was a picture perfect winter’s day for our friendly club challenge v on Sun 2nd. Not so perfect was the score line which meant Kohi retained the cup. But considering it was rained out last year who could complain. Thank you Kohi for a wonderful day, fun friendly matches and great hospitality! We look forward to reciprocating next year. Thank you to our players who made the journey across the bridge, the drive around the waterfront was sublime!

Whoo hoo, finally the upstairs clubrooms are open for business. The lounge area is revitalised and now so inviting. Our completed work includes updated lighting, fresh paint and new carpet. The next stage will focus on the honours boards and the addition of new furniture. Sincere thanks to our contractors for delivering a great outcome AB Electrical, JNF Decorators and Hills Commercial Flooring.

Absolutely glorious day today for our midweek social followed by mid-week AGM and prize giving. A full list of award recipients will be published in our newsletter.

Our Mid-Week Committee are not hibernating! No indeed they are catering for our ardent players with the AGM and prize giving over morning tea on 15 July AND a 'Soup Tournament' on 22 July. Do come along and enjoy this fun festive mid-winter time with our mid-week committee and players.

MBTC warmly welcomes Louise Morris as its incoming President. Louise was elected at the Club’s 98th AGM on 21 June 2026. Louise has a long history with the Club and for the past two years has served on the main committee helping facilitate and manage the projects on hand including the Club’s renovations. Louise is also involved with the Midweek Committee as the NSLDTA interclub convenor.

The Club sincerely thanks Glen Stanton for his valued contribution to the Club as President for the last four years.

Campbells Bay Tennis Club are the proud retainers of the 'Battle of the Bays' Cup. MBTC put up a good fight but alas we couldn't pull it off. Thank you Campbells Bay for a thoroughly enjoyable day.
