At the Breakers Academy our coaching team work to improve every aspect of a players game.

Suitable for players of any age or ability level, programmes are divided into smaller groups so that assessments and game enhancement can be tailored to the individual. Skill work will include:

Offense
- Footwork
- Ball handling
- Shooting
- Finishing
- Pace/Speed
- Game IQ
- Making Reads
- Play making (creating)
- Offensive angles

Defence
- Footwork
- Technique
- Angles
- Coverage/rotations
- Reading players
- Defensive awareness
- Posture

Private lessons are also available on request.

Hope everyone is looking forward to moving out of lockdown on December 3rd, just as much as we are here at the Breakers HQ. We can't wait to have the gym full again!

Until then, we will continue with the Breakers Academy outdoor sessions next week. If you are interested in joining us, the sessions will run on Monday 29th of November and Wednesday 1st of December from 3.45-4.30pm

Cost will be 50$ per child and sessions are available for children aged 10-18 years old. Children who are 12 and over must be double vaccinated in line with the COVID-19 regulations.

Please bring your own Basketball and water bottle.

Hey Breakers Academy family, some of you will have seen the email sent this morning... Unfortunately, due to Auckland going into Alert Level 3, our training facility is closed and all Breakers Academy and Junior Breakers programmes are suspended until further notice.

Credits will be offered for any sessions missed as a result of the lockdown. We will update you again when we have further information.

He represented both Wellington and North Harbour associations and played for both Wellington College and Westlake BHS. Isaac is currently playing for the Wellington Saints in the NZNBL.
