Waiheke Junior Golf Club

There will be an under 18 tournament for all our registered junior golfers on Saturday 16 December. You will need to register by 11.15am for a 12.00 tee off.

Golf training is starting again for beginners this Wednesday 2 August at 3.30pm, all interested junior players are very welcome to come along.

The Club is looking to restart junior golf instruction on a Wednesday after school at the golf club for the first six weeks of term 2, we wish to see if there is any interest in proceeding.

Instruction would be by club members on Wednesday but there is the opportunity for those who have progressed with their ability to get coaching with our golf professional who is at the Club on Sundays every fortnight.

We will start next Wednesday, April 26, 3.30pm - 5pm with a get together of participants and a meeting with parents to discuss how we move forward in reviving junior golf here on Waiheke and how best to cater for these aspiring golfers.

Gareth will be coaching next Sunday the 26th of February, experienced players starting at 10am followed by a 9 hole Tournament at 11.30am.

Inexperienced players will have coaching from 11am.

Less experienced at 10am, experienced at 11am.

Cost is, members $10, non members $20.

There will not be a Juniors coaching session now until 8 January. Instead this Sunday 18th of December there will be a tournament for all age and ability levels. Be at the club by 9.45am at the latest.

Here is a chance for you to try out all the skills you have learnt over the last few months.

A reminder that coaching for juniors with Gareth is this Sunday 4th December, 10am for inexperienced, 11am for experienced. Email [email protected] to book your place.

A reminder that junior coaching with Gareth is on again this Sunday 20th November. This time the less experienced at 10am an more experienced at 11am. Please email the club to book in.

Junior coaching is on this Sunday (weather permitting), please contact the club if you wish to book a place.

The Junior coaching session is on next Sunday 30th October at 10am. We still have a few spots left, email the club if you want to join in.

Unfortunately the coaching session on 25th September will not now be happening.

The next session is on 9th of October. Please book in advance limited number of ten persons.

A reminder that Junior Coaching is on again this Sunday 11th September from 10 to 12.

In order for everyone to have quality coaching we have to limit the number to 10.

Also it will now be $10 per person per hour to cover our costs. We will waive the fee if you are unable to pay as we wish this to be available to all junior players.
